On the road

At 7:18 a.m., a construction zone was reported on I-295 southbound before Suitland Parkway, according to WTOP Traffic. [Anacostia, DC]

At 7:13 a.m., a crash was reported on I-95 northbound past the I-495/Capital Beltway, according to WTOP Traffic. [Beltsville, MD]

At 7:12 a.m. an accident was reported on MD-210 northbound past Kerby Hill Road/Livingston Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Oxon Hill, MD]

At 7:11 a.m., a crash blocked the left lane of MD-5/Branch Avenue northbound near MD-223/Woodyard Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Clinton, MD]

As of 7:09 a.m., the westbound shoulders and eastbound shoulders of US-40/East-West were closed from US-15 to Blentlinger Road, according to MDOT. [Frederick, MD]

As of 7:06 a.m., the center left lane was blocked on the Capital Ring Road/I-495 Outer Loop due to a disabled vehicle, according to WTOP Traffic. [Woodmoor, MD]

As of 7:06 a.m., two lanes of northbound-right traffic and two northbound shoulders on I-95 North were closed to the exit for northbound MD-543/Creswell Road, according to MDOT. [Aberdeen, MD]

As of 7:05 a.m., the south-right and north-right shoulders of US-40 between Rolling Road and Geipe Road were closed, according to MDOT. [Catonsville, MD]

At 6:55 a.m., the southbound left traffic lane and left shoulder and northbound left shoulder and left traffic lane of US-301 from River Road to Pfalzgroff Road were closed, according to the MDOT. [Millington, MD]

At 6:30 a.m., a disabled vehicle blocked the center lane from the entrance at New York Avenue, Northeast to Florida Avenue, Northeast, according to WTOP Traffic. [NoMa, DC]

As of 1:57 a.m., wind warnings were in effect for both directions of US-50 on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, according to WTOP Traffic. [Chesapeake Bay Bridge, MD]

Current closures:

According to MDOT, the northbound lanes and shoulder of MD-648 north between McGuirk Drive and Furnace Branch Road are closed due to a utility issue. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Both southbound shoulders of I-395 from Conway Street to Fort McHenry are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

The northbound shoulder and both right-hand lanes of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed for public works, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

According to MDOT, the westbound right-hand exit ramp from MD-725 West on John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

The northbound left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

The eastbound shoulder, taxiway and center turn lane of MD-648 East between Kuethe Road and Governor Ritchie Highway are closed due to a public service issue, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

According to MDOT, the northbound shoulders and travel lanes of MD-150 North between Sparrows Point Boulevard and Wharf Road are closed. [Sparrows Point, MD]

Public transportation

Due to a driver shortage, the following commuter bus routes will not operate Tuesday morning: Route 715 – Route #-9, according to MDOT. [Waldorf, MD]

DC Weather

Expect sunny skies in the Baltimore-Washington area on Tuesday, with highs of 59 and lows of 34, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies over Rockville were sunny as of 7:35 a.m. Tuesday with a temperature of 45 degrees, according to AccuWeather forecasts. The day will be cooler but pleasant.
