Suspected DUI driver hits disabled vehicle on I-295

A suspected DUI driver has been arrested after hitting a disabled vehicle along the side of I-295.
Pennsylvania State Police were called around 11:45 p.m. Sunday to report a crash on I-295 westbound in Middletown Township.
Soldiers said they determined that a disabled vehicle on the shoulder had been hit by another vehicle.
A 44-year-old man from Trenton was driving his vehicle when he left the freeway and hit the disabled vehicle in the rear, state police said.
The disabled vehicle hit by the Trenton man belonged to a 19-year-old man from Silverhill, Alabama.
No injuries were reported and the extent of the damage was not disclosed.
Troopers said they found the 44-year-old man from Trenton, whose name has not been released, showed signs of being intoxicated and was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Suspicious drugs were located during the arrest.
State police said the investigation into the incident is continuing.
